'97 M3 Sedan rear shock mount replacement

My 97 M3 Sedan needs to have it's rear shock mounts replaced, I've seen a few web pages that show how to replace them on M3 Coupes, but not M3 Sedans. I've heard that you don't have to remove the speakers when replacing RSMs on sedans. Is that correct?

not really sure on the sedans but you should be able to tell by looking in ur trunk. are the speakers right up against the rear shock towers?

I did a full suspension over haul on my car, which is a sedan.

The shocks in the rear come out really easily. You just have to disassamble the entire trunk to get to them. No, you don't have to remove the speakers either.

Three bolts, I believe they are 10mm, can't remember will dis-mount the shock from the top of the rear tower, unblot the bottom first, and it falls right out.
