Lmbo/Vertica Doors on a M3

What do you guys think about Lambo Doors on an M3. They really looks slick. i did see a couple of picks on the web and they look dashing on a E36 ....



My angel side of the brain is saying... "everything is so perfect.. nothing is broke... why fix it..." while the other side is like... duuude... Lambo doors... )





Any thoughts, comments, pat on the head.. bad idea ??

Though it is cool, I'm not sure if it would suit the M3 well. If you look at real lambo doors on exotic cars you can see how the actual door wraps up into the roof of the car. Thats why its more practical. Get what I mean?

Has the price gone down on that yet? Someone on my old Mustang forum had it done on his 94-98 style Mustang. He got a few magazine covers with it. Anyway it cost him $10,000. Kinda expensive when a KB blower goes for $4k for a Mustang and you can get a Vortech for $3,200.

Actually I agree with him, Lambo doors might be hot....but only on an extremely modified M3, otherwise it would look out of place.

it would look a lot better on a e46, i seen the hamman e46 with full kit, m5 motor swap, raised hood with clear insert, etc.. it looks bad ass, but e36 body is too old school for the lambo doors, i dont think it will look right

I think that the doors will ALWAYS look out of place...but they are supposed to afterall-that's kind of the point.



If your car looks really really modded (like a show car) why not. It's already drawing all eyes, you might as well have weird doors too.
