Caliper Paint Color

What color should i paint my calipers? I have a Daytona Violent M3.





Gold?

Blood Red?

Black?

Yellow?

I say paint it red. It'll stand out very nicely...unless you have a red m3 :roll:

I painted mine silver. IMHO I think stock calipers that are painted red screams big brake kit wannabe. :bullhorn:

I plan on removing the rust at some point, getting some titanium silver from the shop and putting a nice coat of silver on my callipers.



Not too fond of thoes radicaly colored callipers.

Any VHT brand, high temp paint will work. Trouble is i cant find a Blood red, they have Ford red, no way! Guess i will keep looking.

Thanks Desmo...looks good but my stock calipers are kinda silverish metal looking...i dunno if am going to go through the trouble of painting them near the same color. Noticed you have a Duc...i've had my 916 since 95'. Same choice of car and bikes..hmmm

Actually, any of those colors would look good. The yellow might be a little cartoonish, unless you're a Minnesota Vikings fan. If it were me, I would go with the red, though.

I first bought red paint for my silver m3 but ended up changing my mind and returned it. Ended up buying the silver caliper paint to give it a more clean look and a less stand oout look.

you can also buy caliper paint at your local auto parts store. they usually only have a half dozen or so colors, but at least you know you aren't messing them up with the wrong paint.

I squirted when I saw your GT3's, sooooo nice! I just got some HMIII's which I like but always wanted the GT3's - they look great with technoV.

As far as the color, I think that it also depends somewhat on what wheels you have. I like the gloss black or silver for those of us with "open" wheels.

I kind of agree with AMPower on the BBK thing....
