    rear ended...uggg

I've been gone for awhile, cheifly because of depression. A lady driving a monte carlo rear ends me at a red light. I can't belive it. The damage...while isn't too bad still hurt me a lot. Car is not 5 months old and it has this mark on it.

I'll upload pictures as soon as i can.

Basically i think her screw on the liscne plate made an indent in my bumper. So its scratched and has an indentation...anyway i can fill it so it doesn't look chipped ?

I feel for you man...I got rearended like 3 weeks after owning the car. It was by a bunch of Mexican Americans (as PC as possible ) who didn't speak english and only had fake insurance.

The damage was minimal and I didn't pursue it.

I'm sorry to hear it. At least you'll get a new rear end.

Aren't you going to get her insurance, or her if it's less than her deductible, to pay for the damage and get it fixed?

Yeah, post pictures, I see wrecked BMWs at work diaily. In fact, we have a estoral blue m3 getting ready to be painted in the shop, I should grab a pic of it.

In fact, I have a bunch of pics from the shop, scary ones. We just total lossed an 04 x5, insurance wrote around $53,000 to fix it. That I have pics of *grins* However, I have seen plenty of e36's get their trunk floors replaced. Its common pratice at my shop.

As far as filling it, you would have to repair the plastic on the bumper cover, and to do that, you have to remove the paint in the area that it got damaged. Then, after you smooth out the body filler, you need to repaint the cover.
