    What holds spare down?

I never got anything which holds down the spare in my 97. What am I missing?

my spare goes over a tall threaded bolt. It's held down by a metal disk with a wingnut, on top of that is a plastic plate you press over top just I guess so nothing snags on the exposed length of bolt.

Thanks, pretty standard setup. I'll have to see what I'm missing-like in the ads.

Its a small brass plate, with a slit in the middle that fits snuggly into the center of your rim. Thats held down by a wing nut, and on top of the "long screw" goes a plastic thing to support the cover.

And don't forget there's a rubber "flat o-ring" that goes between the wheel and slotted metal plate that protects the finish of the wheel.
