need help on the 50K tune up..

hi guyz i need help on the tune up for the 50K miles..when i reach 50K miles i changed the spark plugs and oil and the filter for the intake..and do i need to change anything else?? should i change the timing belt?? or the cluch?? or any other things?? also i have one more question.. when i am driving if i want to shift fast with my gears and there is a sound that like "Zzzuuuu" when i shift..it appears mostly on the 2nd and 3rd gears..but other gears would have it sometimes..and also this only appears sometimes but not all the time..so i was just wondering is it my cluch that is gone bad or is the other stuff that is gone bad..so please help me thankz thankz.... :help:

One thing I would suggest is the transmission and diff fluids, powersterring fluid, microfilter int he dash. (Trans fluid ONLY if you have a manual), I get that "Zuuuuuu" sound also, its your throwout rods I believe making noise. I haven't thought much of it though, possibly a sideaffect of a short shifter?

M3 does not have a timing belt, it uses a chain.

Here is a list of items that are done during the Inspection I & Inspection II. You are not yetr due for the Inspection II, I think it's at 70K or 80K. I can't remember exactly when.

if you have an auto, you should most definitely change the fluid. i dont give a rats ass if bmw says not to change it. there is no such thing as a lifetime fluid. just drain it out and see how dirty it is.

Every tech says its not lifetime, however, theres a reason bmw says not to.

One, the fluid is some special concotion they make, two, I believe it was somethitng to do with air in the system, can't remember.

Not to mention that fluid costs around $500 heh

I doubt its installed incorrectly. Its something to do with the physics of how the SSK works, which transfers more noise. I guess its proportinal to how much force you got to use to change the gears... :P
