    Best spoiler/wing for e36

    Hey everyone,

I'm pretty new to this site (love it), and I'm wondering what you think the best wing is for an e36 M3, in particular the sedan. I'm ready to get one thanks to my tax refund, but I'm curious to see what other people have gotten done. I'm considering 2 right now, but I'll take any suggestions!

    1. Stock spoiler w/ LED from Sedan

    2. e46 m spoiler

What do you think about those? Anyone tried to fit an e46 spoiler on the e36?

While i'm at it, anyone have suggestions on where to buy the spoiler?

I personally like the no spoiler look, or the small lip spoiler I think looks really nice

I like the spoiler that came on my car. It happens to block headlamps at night quite nicely, although, its a bit heavy. If I had to choise, I would get the rear deck wing spoiler with the break lamp in it.

Maybe you should get the wing off a Civic SI, I bet it would fit, or maybe one of those from an old Super B, yea that's what I would do. You might think about keeping it stock and classy, instead of making it look like a Neon with a wing. Get my meaning? You could glue anything to the trunk but why would you want to do what every teenage punk on the street does?

True. But I do like the more finished look of having a small, tasteful wing (like the e46 m). Those huge metal, bolt-on, silver eye sores teenage Civic drivers put on are definitely stupid looking. Anyone know where I could get a good deal on a wing? I looked at bavarian autosport but they want somethin like $450 -- too much IMO.

Damn sameguy - I dont think he was referring to a ricey wing - he said OEM or E46. It might be nice to help him out or shut the f*** up. Try to be nice to new people & maybe when you have a question someone will try to help you out rather than bash you. A**hole. Get my meaning?

                  99DakarM3,

Maybe you should go out and try to pick up a sense of humor, I hear they're on special at the 7-11, free with a pack of smokes. Seriously man, what's eating you. I was just fooling around. I don't think VTRick took my comment as a bash as his reply was pretty tame. If I offended VTRick I would like to apologize. This forum is the best resource I have found for information on every aspect of our beloved M3's, and the people here are generally pretty cool.

99DakarM3, I really liked your comment about being nice to people then telling me to... how did you put it? Oh yea "shut the f*** up", and calling me an "A**hole." Simmer down dude, maybe cut back on the caffine, go outside and smell the flowers.

Heh, no. I was just stating, but I also stated which I would prefer from OEM.

I believe mines part of a racing dynamic kit.. would have to double check.

(still finding out what alls on my car)

I think that wing on your car almost makes it look a little E30-ish (which I mean as a compliment - the E30 M3 is sexy). I wouldn't put it on my car (mainly because I don't think it would look very E30ish on estoril blue... but on hellrot, not too shabby)

That's fooling around? VTRick and I replied at the same time, maybe he didnt take offense, but I did. When you jump someone's s***, esp. a newbie who just gave props to the forum, for asking a question you might get jumped at yourself. I dont care who you are or what you think of me, and yes I usually am one of the people who tries to post and help others out, or ask questions myself, but it was you with your 21 posts who started on him. I wont take this any further b/c internet fights are ridiculous so have a nice day :bang:

dark sirius, I think you would have the perfect wing if it had a third brake light bar. I have always felt the 1995 M3 Lightweight wing (oem) WITHOUT the high "blocks" with the brake light would be the best one for our cars. Just my 2 cents.

Roger that. Its kina weird seeing my own brake lamps illuminate my spoiler....

I am just waiting for a cop to stop be because he can't see my third brake lamp hehe... :banghead:
