    Hey everyone,

I'm pretty new to this site (love it), and I'm wondering what you think the best wing is for an e36 M3, in particular the sedan. I'm ready to get one thanks to my tax refund, but I'm curious to see what other people have gotten done. I'm considering 2 right now, but I'll take any suggestions!

    1. Stock spoiler w/ LED from Sedan

    2. e46 m spoiler

What do you think about those? Anyone tried to fit an e46 spoiler on the e36?

While i'm at it, anyone have suggestions on where to buy the spoiler?

I am kind or partial to the lip spoiler and have been shopping for one myself. I have attached a link to an e-bay auction for a lip spoiler:

You would need to have it painted at the local body shop.

    Hope this helps.

dark sirius, I think you would have the perfect wing if it had a third brake light bar. I have always felt the 1995 M3 Lightweight wing (oem) WITHOUT the high "blocks" with the brake light would be the best one for our cars. Just my 2 cents.

Cleveland - - this is kind of off topic.... What did you use to paint your side molding? How is it holding up? I too have a white sedan and was considering painting the molding like you have done. Your car looks great

From my experience at work, when we paint mouldings, we will not gureentee the work. This is mainly due to the way the plastics are manfuactured. Compnies sometimes use chemicals called release agents, which prevents the moulding from sticking to the mould, its like pam for plastic! Anyways, over time, the release agents come away from the plastic, and this can affect how paint adheares to them.

However, I haven't had one issue with mine, I have seen a few peopel come back and say the paints peeling, but thats more of a rareity.

Dark Sirius you in my view have the ultimate E36 rear wing.

The wing you have is of the E36 M3 GT 3 litre ( only coupes ), it is a two tier rear spoiler and it gives the car one of the meanest rear ends ive ever seen. i reckon you should get the front airdam splitter of the gt and your car would look the dogs bollocks not that it doesn't right now.

by the way where do u work ? if you wanna ever get rid of that spoiler tell me first.

fmly4door - their is still a group buy going on at the baybimmers website for the lip spoilers - M3 or M5 style. Like I said above only 45 plus shipping. The site may be down - we had a tragic loss at Sebring resulting in having to move the server. If you cant get to the site pm me and I can give you the email of the guy who is organizing the group buy.

99DakarM3: Thank you for the suggestion regarding the group buy at the baybimmer web site (www.baybimmer.com). I was able to access the site and found the e-mail address of the guy putting the group buy together. Waiting to hear if they ordered yet or if I could add to the order.

Wow, I did not know of the loss you refered to in your earlier post. Very sad....
