CAN i fit e46 17" wheels size 235's and 255's on my M?????

Ok heres the reason!



I need to send out my wheels to be refinished (one is bent) but they are going to be gone for a week! So my friend has a e46 330 with the 17' inch M style wheels, that he will let me borrow untill my wheels come back.



The problem is sombody talked him into putting wider fronts and rears 235's in the front and 255's in the rear. Im not sure of the sidewall aspect ratio but I know its in relation to the standard 225's and 245's that are stock on both my car and on his wheels.



Can i fit thoes e46 wheels with the slightly wider tires on my M without rubbing???? ITs only temporary but I dont want to rub anything!!! IS the bolt pattern the same???





LEt me know if I can do this!!!!

The fronts will fit - or they should as I run 235 40 17's on mine. Not sure of the rear as most are running 18's with 255's or 245's so I would think it would be ok. I'm not sure of the offsets, etc. This is just reasoning in my head while I paruse the web at work.

Due to the ofset of my rims, non-oem though, I can't run more than 225s heh, I could prob push 235s... but thats serious pushing...
