I had my oil changed at the stealership when i had the 80k mile checkup done....Is this synthetic?? I really want to change to mobil 1...how should i go about doing this?

dunno about it being synthetic, but to change to mobil 1 I would think it would just be a standard oil change. Buy like 7 quarts of mobil 1 and an oil filter (which comes with the necessary washer and o-rings) at your local autostore (they usually have a catalogue where you can look up which oil filter kit to get etc). Go home, take out old oil filter, open up crankcase, put a container under oil pan. Open oil pan drain bolt, remove it...let oil drain out all the way, close up drain with bolt and new crush washer (from oil filter kit) torque to spec. Plop in the new filter, put on the 2 o-rings and put cover back over filter...torque to spec. Dump new oil into crankcase....oh and make sure engine is somewhat warmed up before all this (let car run like 2-3 minutes) but not hot.
