what is the differerence between the 95 m3 and the 96-99 m3 engine wise?...sorry if its a dumb question

Size, power, ODB version for a quick summary. The 95 is a 3.0 L, and the 96-99 is a 3.2L engine. I believe the 95 and below uses OBD v1 and all the new engines use OBD v2.



The exhaust system is also differnet btween the two years, as is the intake manifolds and such.



Thats just for the US engines though.... the difference between the euro and us engine is a whole other story :P

but is the 95 any slower than the 96-99 if so by how much?...what do both cars run in the 1/4 mile?
