Do M3 rotors fit a 325i??? NEED HELP ASAP

Hey guys, im at the begin of my brakeproject, i want to put the E36 M3 rotors 320mm on a 325i. will that fit? i know the standard 325i calipers wont fit then, but ive got a pair of Brembo's laying around to be fit...



plz tell me if the rotors fill be a plug and play fit... tia

I believe the hubs are the same, its just that normally the m rotors won't fit due to the calipers.

Won't fit, you need to swap the spindles to m3 parts. Hubs are also different, but they have since gone to one part for both m3 and 3 series.

sorry for my bad english but what are "spindles" ?? and is there no other way to fit the M rotors on the 325i?



so you sure that they wont fit? ive heard alot of saying it does and some that it dont..... but ive got to be sure before i order a set of crossdrilled Zimmermans, thx BTW the 325i is from 92

I believe the spindle is the peice the rotor actually bolts onto. The wheel hub is what the bearing and spindle are pressed into. What SG is saying is that the M3 parts are different in sizes and you need them to make the m3 rotors fit.

Damn, it cant be fitted with some work? i really need my M3 Zimmerman rotors fitted on my 325i ,cant it be done with some custom work?

Perhaps if you put an m3 hub and spindle in, that may work. Will they bolt up to your existing suspension componets? Prob, but I am not too sure.

Why not just buy the Zimmermans for your 325...modifying your car to accomodate the "M" rotors seems pricey and unnecessary.

Heya Problem is, the standard 325i ones look like maxi cd singles... i need something bigger, and the standard calipers are going to be replaced by some Brembo 4 pots from a Ferrari 512/ Porsche Carrera 4... so i need at least 315mm and 28mm thick... and i can get the Zimmerman crossdrilled M rotors for a really really good price....



Anybody know what model BMW rotors would fit the 325i, and are atleast 315mm in diameter?

i know e46 330 brakes will fit, you might check their size.

cant seem to find the sizes of a 330ci rotor can someone help me with this??? thx also need to know the width of the rotor, has to be 28mm thx
