couple questions

First I was wondering if anyone replaced their shock mounts themselves, because I looked at them last night and nothing looked wrong with them but I mean i dont know how they are suppose to be. But after looking at them i sprayed them with wd40 and that annoying sound went away but back again today. I was just wondering what I was suppose to look for when looking at them.



Second i was wondering if I can just take out my door pannel with airbags the same way as I would without airbags, or is there a sensor or somehting i should be aware of when im pulling it apart.

I replaced my entire suspension system myself. The thing with the OEM RSM is that they are weak, and that there is better out there. Mine looked fine when I put them back in, no fatuge marks, ets.



You can take the door panal off with the air bags just like the normal ones. The airbag is mounted to the door on the outside of the vapor barier, not to the trim panal itself.



If you disconnect the airbag though, don't turn the car on or you'll get a light and have to clear it, and its best to disconnect the batt when you remove the airbags as they are liable to blow.
