Updates on my primer gray M3

As some of you may have been waiting for an update from me, here it is. I have decided that i am going to paint my car technoviolet, after i go widebody. It may take a year or two before i go widebody though.

What i have chosen to do with my primer gray m3 is just to paint the primered parts, and hope it turns out good. I went and bought some custom mixed spray bombs, and clear today. I still have a bit of bodywork to do on it though. I hope to paint it sometime this week.

I will psot pics soon. I have to go clean out the garage. :banghead:

SO you are gonna run around for a year or 2 with a ghetto paint job? You never know what will happen in 2 years...I say paint now and if you do decide to go widebody then do so ..

not ghetto, it wont be perfect, but i doubt anyone will notice.

i could care less about how it looks, it gets me from point a to b, and it runs like a champ. i dont see the point in spending a shitload of money to get the whole car sprayed, just to mess it up again in a year or two. i dont have money to blow, i have to pay for school & bills.

Just remember this. BMW doesn't clear the inner panals, to make it look correct. This includes the: Engine bay, trunk floor, under the hood, underside of the deck lid, rear deck gutters. Usually, the non-clear formula for the paint is a bit different than the actual color coat thats gets the clear coat.

please keep in mind that i am a high school student, who right now doesent have money to dish out on a fancy ass paintjob

i think it came out damn good for doing it in a 1 car townhouse garage, using spray bombs.

disregard the reg bumper in the pic, i am waiting on my m3 one.
