Reprogram with your Computer?!

I am looking into all the chip programmers like the Shark Injector AA etc.. and I would like more control over my 99 m3s ecu.

What do I need to buy, or where do I need to go to start to play with my computers setup.



In summary I basically want to reprogram without a Shark Injector. How can I do this? Is it worth it.

I sure would.. but Im hoping someone else has tried it, and that I can edit or uncorporate the data off a Shark chip. With out the shark program.



Im sure someone out there is good with computers and has edited there computers with some program... Right? :thumbsup:

From the looks of that site, that only looks like a scan unit, to pull fault codes...



You need to get your hands on a chip re-programmer. How well do you know the software language bmw uses?

I think it gives you the software to edit it too.

... Update.... THESE appear to NOT allow you to reprogram the chip.. only to read from it :chair:
