'99 3.2L Oil Drain Plug Torque Specs

By doing a search of this forum I found a DIY link for changing oil. The oil change was done on a 3.0L engine and the torque spec for the oil drain plug is said to be 18 ft-lbs.

Is that torque spec the same for the later, 3.2L engine. I'm assuming it is, but just want to double check.

I'm not new to changing my own oil, I've done it for years on my VWs. I'm just taking a little more care with the BMW because the outcome can be vastly more expensive if you don't do it right.

    TIA,

Yeah, that's the spec for all E36's, as far as I know. I go by the Bentley manual, and that's what it has.
