    Airdam Corner pieces

Ok about 3 mos ago I destroyed my airdam engine shield and damaged both of the black plastic corner pieces. Well I put on a JTD designs aluminum replacment airdam and ordered two new corner pieces. What I got looks to be the bottom portion of the triangle shaped pieces that sit in fron of the front wheels under the airdam. The original damaged pieces were thrown away and the parts guy at bimmerparts can't find the right piece. So does anyone have the part no. for these pieces, I took a pic of the part he sent orginally and it looks just like the one that came of my '99 but only the top half of it. THe bottom part was smooth and angles down as it stops at the wheel well. I hope this is not too confusing a description, also the part number is stamped somewhere on the outside if I remember correctly. I wish my woman would not have thrown it away by accident. Any help is appreciated, Oh yeah and I am no where near any dealers either.

go to your local dealership and at the parts depart they will help you find the number / part.

I'd say your guess is correct that it's only the top half. Here's a picture of the "porkchops". If you look at the one on the left, you can see the piece you're holding on it.

oh one more thing, if you have the JT-Designs underpanel, why do you need the porkchops. Is yours different than mine? http://mkg.planetdns.net/gallery/M3/DSC01844 seems to cover the entire length under the car, the "hooks" on the porkchops have nothing left to "hook" onto.

Rats, I wish I saw this at work, I could have looked up part numbers for you in the crash guide. With the amount of front bumpers we replace cause people tear them up, finding the part numbers is quite simple...
