I was thinking for my next mod to put some pullies on my car. I hear that most pullies people are putting on are only giving them like 5hp. That seems like a little for the price and i've heared th e URI pulley gives some good gains. The URI pullies seem to be giving out some notice gains. Any thoughts on these pullies

Pullieys will give you better throttle response, with some extra power freed up. I caution you not to change your power pully due to the harmonic damapener thats needed.
I used to know a site that went into pretty good detail about that dampner. Ill try to find it again.
Edit: The page was on dinnans site, however it looks like they removed/moved it. I'll keep looking.
Edit 2: Found the same atricle on another site.. yeah its a toyota site.. but its good reading:
Dangers of power pulleys (http://www.toyotacelicaonline.com/pulleys.htm)
Going off that article, seeing how the flywheel also help with the dampening affect, does a lightweight flywheel affect the engine in any NEGATIVE way?

ROFL the dinan papers.
Our crankshafts are internally balanced and forged. There have been no reported failures do to crank pulleys. I have 20k on mine, a friend has 50k on his. They stock pulley is tuned to dampen right around 3800 rpm, i don't notice any unwanted effects. Do a search they weigh the issues and then decide for yourself.
A crank pulley will give 10 rwhp, compared to 5 rwhp for accessory pulleys.

HAHAHA, if you believe that than you shoud believe that Dinan software gives you 15hp! For some reason everyone loves to cite the Whitepapers but fails to cite the Conversation taken place by UR Shaun Baugmeter and Steve Dinan, where Dinad stated he did not direct his generalized statements at UR products.....
