    Brake squeek, is there hope?

Okay. Dunno about you, but brake squeek bugs the hell outa me. Heres my situation, just put new pads/rotors on last night, was at the shop till 10:15 heh. Euro floaters up front, OEM pads all around, and oem rotors in the back.

Right as I come to a stop, < 2 mph, under light braking, I get a slight squeek. :banghead:

I am almost sure I got all the points that needed to be hit with anti-squeek.

Are there other reasons for squeeking? I was under the impression its mainly from vibration of the pads, which is why theres anti-squeek.

Kinda frustrated because because they are brand new.

    Thoughts?

Try chamfering the edges of the pads...means opening it up again though.

Ugg, would rahter avoid that doig that.... I was reading a few mins ago about brakes and common problems, sounds, fading, etc... read something about break in periods. Perhaps I didn't bed the pads enough when I did my bedding last night, then again, it was my first time actually bedding pads, so perhaps I made a couple mistakes, or didn't do it enough. *shrugs* Maybe tonight Ill re-do the procedure.

you should do like 5-10 60 + stops to 10 mph, i would give the pads a while to "break in" .

My brakes are deffinity broke in, but everyonce in a while they will squeak when i'm going really slow. Its like they just have their "moods". Its so embarasing pulling up to a red light and your brakes squeaking like crazy.
