RACE-E36 M3 and PT crusier

Alright.

I was in my car at a light behind a blue PT and to the PT's right a black E36 M3 with rims.



Light turned green and they are off.



1st-They are even!!!!

2nd-Even, none of cars are pulling an inch!

3rd-The E36 m3 pulled bout 2 cars.



Wow never thought the PT is that fast!!!

IT is a SRT-4 engine...



So thats actually 260hp... at the crank and 230 at the wheels



(it says 220 but dyno's proven that stock 2.4l make 230 at the wheels)

Agreed, a Stock srt-4 would be a drivers race. Throw about $500-$1000 in mods into a SRT-4 and no N/A E36 M3 could touch it on anything other than a real race track. Even then teh SRT's can hold their own.



For the price this is one fast Neon. Quite a bargain if you are just looking for cheap speed vs. a well balanced all around luxury sport-car.

I like the SRT-4s. I think they're great... except when I took one out for a ride I hated the clutch. and the shift ball which is suppose to be a shifter.

yeah i heard that they were fast, and when we were in line waiting to race i asked the guy his times and he said mid to high 9s in 8th mile, he only ran 9.7 when we raced, i was really surpriced that i won.. also i was on my walkie talkie prior to lining up with him, and my friend that was at the end of the track filming was laughing his ass off.. he said you are racing a cheap ass neon, lol, if you loose i'll make fun of you for ever, etc.. i told him, no its srt-4, he was like, so still its a cheap ass dodge neon.. well i beat him, we got it on video camera, i was really surprised..

Naa, SRT-4's handle like **** and even on there very nice stock KWD tires there grip levels are not very high ..
