Did the clay bar remove swirl marks...or do you have to polish also?

I've never clay barred anythign before, but winter was hard on my car.

I'm not sure whether or not it was the clay bar or the Zymol, but the swirls on my paint appear to be gone.

You should wax after you use a claybar to protect the paint. Clay bars are far less abrasive than a rubbing compound, but it is still a good idea to put a coat of wax on afterwards.

Yeah, I heard it'll strip everything good and bad off your car, but then you can restart with fresh wax over only clean clearcoat.

I'll probably do it once it warms up here and show you guys some pics.

This was my first experience with Zymol. I think that it is definitely worth the extra few dollars.

Thanks  I don't think most people realize how good the green can look when it is all cleaned up.

It was nice all day, now it's snowing. I think it's supposed to be 70 by tuesday or wednesday. Only in Colorado!!

I bought the claybar at Advance Auto Parts. I thik you can get them pretty much anywhere.

car looks good I use the clay bar once or twice a year. Sure is time consuming, but the treated to untreated touch is a night and day difference you probably found.

Oh, some of us do out here, KUpolo!

I just put a coat of Meguire's on mine, thought I was doing well. Zymol really the best?

I think we are the select few that understand the power of being green

I tried the Zymöl based on the recommendations of the people on the forum. It was around $12 for the bottle versus $5 or $6 for Turtle Wax. It was definitely the best wax I've ever used. The Meguire's is supposed to kick ass too, but I've never used it. Maybe I'll give it a try down the road this summer, but I think I may be a Zymöl for life guy.

Did you buy the zymol at wal mart or the hardcore zymol that they sell online.

There are two I think and one is a lot more expensive. At 12 bucks a bottle, you are probably using the good stuff.
