The digits go a little nuts... :fuming:

Do i have to replace the whole panel , or is the digital clock seperate ?

How hard is it to replace ?

I don't think the display is servicable.... IE: You may have to replace the enitre unit. I would have to double check that.

Possibly. But seeing that leads me to two ideas. One: Is it just the display thats gone bad, or two: Have the electronics that control the display gone bad...

Its prob a bad display. But I can't be sure without testing it. However... I take that back. There is a way to test it the display... *looks up procedure*

Ahhh right... go here OBC unlocking/testing (http://home.att.net/~ebaines/e36_obc.htm)

Get access to the OBC and use the 01 test code, that will light up all your pixils in both displays. This will tell you if your display is bad. At the same time it'll remove all values from the obc if I remember, so you'll have to set your clock again... etc...
