The dealership. They just slide onto the rocker panal, and then pop into the body. Easy as pie.

Say for example one clip is broke in the middle of the sideskirt. Can you just bend the sideskirt down far enough so you can replace that clip or should you remove the entire sideskirt, replace the clips and then put the sideskirt back on?

I would take it off all the way personally. So you don't risk cracking paint and ripping plastic, even though they are quite malluable.

I had the same problem and i bought the clips at the stealership. But suprisingly i wasn't robbed. For about 5 clips i believe it cost me less than $10 give or take. Anyway, i really don't think it's neccessary to remove the entire moulding. Just gently pry the moulding forward and remove the old clip and put the new ones in and push back onto the car until it clips in. In the process you may unclip some of the good clips but just push the moulding and clip them all back on. Buy a couple of extra clips just in case you crack one. They may also recommend to buy plastic rings that the clips, clip into and they are only a few cents each so get them. New stuff is always good.

How do you take it off without breaking the unbroken clips?

They are designed to pop out, like your mouldings on your doors.

                So...

                1. Pull and pray that they don't break

                2. Put new clips and rings in

                3. Push firmly

Right. Use a flat-head screwdriver or something similar and use it to pop the clips off. That way you won't break them

I read this thread yesterday and decided to take a closer look at my drivers side skirt that was sticking out a little. After pulling the skirt out in the middle, it did expose a couple of clips. I was getting ready to remove the one in the middle where it had been sticking out and decided to give it a couple more taps :smash: to see if I could seat it properly. No luck. I decided to then rotate the clip 1/2 way and give it another tap. Presto Side skirt is now flush.
