    Gas prices outside USA

I'm just curious how much it costs people outside the U.S. to fill up their M3s. I've been paying around $30 for a full tank of 91 octane. When I spent time in England a few years ago their gas prices were extremely high. I don't remember the exact $ amounts, but I think it was around $80 for a tank of low grade gas! :eek2:

      New Zealand:

      98RON = ~NZ$1.10 / litre which is ~US$0.69 / litre

Given that 1l = ~0.26 US liquid gallons there's about four litres in a gallon of fuel.

By that logic we're paying about ~US$2.75 a gallon.

What do you pay per gallon for premium, high octane fuel?

NB: What type of common sense failure lead to their being two gallon standards (UK/US) and for crying out loud one for dry weights and one for liquid weights??!! Damn, I'm glad I live in a simple world... rebel lads, go metric!

Gas in my area ranges from 1.90 - 2.10 a gallon for reference.

It costs me around $47 CDN to fill my tank in London Ont. My avg. fuel consumption is 12.3 L/100 km in the city and around 9L/100 km on the highway at 120 km/h, i guess thats not too bad.

Here in the Netherlands I pay between 70 - 80 Euro's for a full tank..

That translates to about 90 US dollar.

Thats somewhere around $5.33 a gallon..

            I average about 1 tank a week..

In the uk it's about 80p a litre, which is (drum roll) $1.42USD, I put in 98 Octane always but it's not alot more than the regular (96 Octane) we have here.

Filling my tank is £55 which is (drum roll) $98USD

90% of the price of fuel in the UK is TAX.. Isn't that f**king ridiculous?

That is totally ridiculous for some of you guys. I couldn't imagine dropping $100 to fill up. Unfortunately I'd probably be driving a Ford Ka if I was living there. Thanks for the replys.

UN-believeable! Awfully high price to pay for universal health care and generous welfare benefits.

We do have it pretty good here in the U.S. as far as gas prices go. This is why american cars are so large in general and they are typically smaller in other countries.

Also, why doesn't the U.S. Adopt the Metric system, it makes so much more sense?

Are u guys serious? I would NEVER pay 80 to fill up. Man, the bus would be my best friend. That is something I gotta see to believe.

$98 a tank - sorry to hear. and I thought $35 a week per tank was bad, specially the crappy California gas we get @ the pump. no more complaining from me...
