    Jim Conforti Supercharger

Ok guys, I just checked the website and the price is not available yet. I see new pictures of a Z3M, and a video that really doesn't show much of the power. I need to know more information! How fast is it, how quick will it go through the qm... and most importantly price and not an estimate!

www.sharked.com is the website for everyone else wanting to see the video of Neil's M coupe.

It is an mcoupe, not an mroadster (mz3)

The power that car is putting down was 359 rwhp and it would have been over 360 if it were taken to redline, which it was not for some reason (went about 200 rpms shy of redline). The first car (dan raitani's) 96 3.2 M3 put down 343 rwhp with just an exhaust, and this M coupe had the addition of cams along with an exhaust.

About the price...there isnt one nailed down yet. It has been said over and over again that the price will be right around 7k, with around 10 hours or so of install time, so figure maybe 8k or so installed by a professional.

I dont think they have an estimate on the quarter mile, but with 360 rwhp, i bet the car runs a low 12. If you check the aa website, www.aatuning.com , one of their kits makes around 360rwhp and they have listed 0-60 times and 1/4 mile times for that kit on an e36.

Finally if you want to know more about the kit there is a 50 page thread on bimmerforums all about it, with all kinds of negative predictions, rebuttals, positive comments, thoughts posted by both the tuner, Jim Conforti, and the fabricator, Josh MacMurray.

Here is the link...the most recent thoughts about the M Coupe pictured in the video occur on page 51 I believe. To read the whole thread will take atleast 2 hours and if you follow all of the links you can add about an hour (though you will feel you know all about positive displacement blowers and this kit in particular)

That is page one...it was very active for awhile. The two owners of twin screwed cars use the forum names of "dan raitani" and "neil m" I believe.
