Wtf? Dim Spot On Speedo Btw 60-80 Mph

I know some people hate old posts being brought up, but I am having these same problems and wanted to see if anyone ever came up with a fix-all for it. Maybe in 12 months someone got it fixed.



Another reason I ask this is because I am wanting to finally put my chrome rings on that have been sitting in my room for a year but I don't want to have to go tearing into by cluster any more than I have to.

all E36s experience this problem.



the problem is the clear plastic detaches from the actual gauge.. the plastic i am talking about is the piece that the light travels thru to illuminate the cluster.



if u want to fix it, take the cluster out and press that piece forward and it should fix it.. press hard. i probably wont bother with it because mine goes away in the fall and winter and re appears in the spring and summer.
