powder-coat exhaust tips

I was thinking of powder-coating my DTM exhaust tips black to go along w/ the black-out theme. Has anyone ever done this?

I haven't done it. Not sure what your car looks like, but I always liked chrome exhaust tips, especially on dark colored cars.

if u do that ull definitly need high temp paint.. might not look too bad though.. sounds like a cool idea.. would u do it a mat black?

yea, mat-black for sure...I saw it done on a pair of matching 911 Turbos and it looked pretty good. Sometimes DTM tips look kinda showy, so I thought that if they were black, that'd calm 'em down a little. BTW, my car is a '95 Boston-Green coupe.
