    coilover suggestions??

hey im thinking about getting coilovers and have pretty much narrowed my choices down to H&R or GroundControl. Any last words of advice? I may be purchasing them within a month or so. Are there any major differences? Pros/Cons? thanks guys.

If you are going to track, then get the GC's. If not, H&R's are probably a better fit for you.

Does H&R have a smoother ride?

H&R is the way to go, spend the extra money on sway bars, better tires and strut+x-brace...

^^^Aren't H&R's more expensive? The cheapest I found the base H&R coilovers was for $1350. The Ground Control Track/School coilovers run for $1195. How much and where did you get yours?

another vote for the GC. i have the track plus kit, with the front camber plates. an stiff springs, 500/550. you can get a softer ride with softer springs. but the 500/550 is definatley streetable.

got them from jon @ www.mperformance.com

Stay tuned, there may be a special product coming out from us - from Eibach.

Yes, we're getting into the Suspension game

Eibach and GC aren't in the same discussion.

                    I have GC - it's stupendous.

We will happily sell you a GC setup that works for you.

However, for the average joe, this Eibach setup will do 95% of the GC.

GC is good for the Track/AutoX dude

I have about 600 miles on an Eibach Pro-street kit. It is stiffer than stock when you are driving below about 45-50 mph. on the highway I think the ride is excelent. not much worse than stock. but with way more control. All the parts and pieces were definately top shelf stuff. The car sticks like never before. I have not been to the track yet and I have nothing to compare to, other than some of my favorite on ramps and twisty roads.

Somebody on this forum said they could get the kits for 1100.

They are not adjustable but I do not think that is an issue. Most people never adjust them anyway.

All in all I feel the kit performs exceptionaly well and was worth the $.

I am not a M3 suspension expert but I am very picky and this set up seems to satisfy me. It is a new kit so I wonder has anyone tried it yet 'cept me?
