I currently have an 11 button OBC. I wanted to upgrade to the 18 button computer and pick one up on eBay. Will it just plug in and work or will additional wiring changes be needed?

the 11 button only has 1 wiring harness...the 18 button requires 2...I don't know how you can upgrade...I was told I couldn't... -
You can upgrade to the 18 button OBC but it is a PITA. You will need to run wires and sensors to all the locations that are not on the 11 button OBC. There is a write up somewhere on the internet on how to do it, I am just too lazy to find it for you right now. Google 18-button OBC conversion and you should find it.Comment
