    Michelin Pilot Sports or PS2s?

I am due to change my tires for my 99M3...I currently have the Pilot Sports which have been great. I was wondering if I should consider replacing

the Pilot Sports with the PS2s...Anyone using the PS2s? Any Comments?

I use Contenental ContiExtreme Contacts. Got almost identical ratings to the pilots, and cost 1/2 the price heh.

I've got the pilot sports.....only had the car 3 days though...I probably won't replace them with the same thing...while great tires I just priced them at over $800 a set...maybe go with dunlop sports next time

I'm waiting for more people to review the PS2's before I get them. I'd hate for them to be bad (though I doubt they will be) for the price.

I heard tirerack is on backorder.

Hmmm....I'm looking for a decent inexpensive tire. Continentals just don't seem like they'd be that great. Where'd you see the ratings that had them ~equal with the pilots?

            Tirerack.

I love the tires so far. They grip well imo, even on flooded streets lol.

Are those the contis that are stock on E46 M3's? Because most of the guys hate them compared to the Pilots.

No. Thoes are the conti sports, not conti extremes. The conti sports, for one, have bad ratings. And two, the ones that are on the e46 m3 are produced ONLY for the e46 m3, if you look closely, you'll see they hve M3 printed on them, and BMW sells them for like $400 a pop lol.

Oh...cool then. I'll look into the extremes next time I need new rears, which may be soon if I make it to more Auto-x events.
