I had a similar experience a couple weeks after I got my M...took a wet off ramp a little to (maybe way to) fast...back end came out to the left was heading straight for the guard rail...cut it back...ass wips around to the right...ride up the curb and grass in the middle divide...ended pulling a 180...bent the lower control arm and bent a rim...GAVE ME A LOT OF RESPECT FOR MY CAR...close calls aren't fun...but better than anything worse...glad to hear you are OK Kid.

I think we've all had experiences like this, testing the limits of the car and accidentally pushing it too far. For me... I tried drifting around an off ramp (very long sweeping right hand ramp) in the wet, I had it for the most part, but revved it too high and the back end went way out and I ended up doin a 180. There was no traffic and the ramp was so wide that I wasnt near hitting the guard rail or the curb.

I haven't. Unlike you all, I respect my car! *kidding* Actually, the clostest thing to going out of control in my M is when I over corrected a fish-tail I was doing.

However, I have done controled 360s in my 320

i think a key to all these stories is WET PAVEMENT...

i'd just be carefull driving the car that hard. one, for the reasons described above and two, because of what happened to the last m3 you owned. there's no harm in going out for a nice "brisk" drive but remember you are not a professional and in the end, you have to pay for the car.

Kinda, I can still pull a 360 on dry pavement.. but its hard to do, naturally, wet pavement makes it easier, and requires less speed to pull off a stunt like that.

HAHa yea, i def need a rewaxing of the car, and maybe even some leather cleaner on the driver's seat...hahahah jk. Anyways, unlike most of you guys I did my stupid thing in the dry, so im even worse off, haha. Well im glad to hear im not the only one doing stupid things by accident.

Yeah, i pulled off a stunt like this before, some of you might recall. This is how I lost my Mesh from the front bumper. I no longer have that and still haven't been able to fix it. Entering a freeway, i lost the back, good thing it was on the ramp and not on the actual freeway or else it could of been alot uglier. I also did a 360, but after doing all these turns I ended up hitting a tree, slow enought just to break my mesh..Call me Luky..

Not stupid.... Sometimes we all get pushed once in while to test the limits... Don't feel bad. Like you said, no one was hurt and the car is fine. Just be careful and know your limits. From the pic, it seems like you have some nice roads which could be tempting.

Everyone should take a driving course that is on a track and with an instructor. That should be your first mod - learn to handle what you have, and drive safe on the streets. Have fun at the track.

truth is most of us have done something close to that and haven't posted =)

I've owned my M3 less than 6 months and have already almost killed myself. But that's besides the point.
