    A/C Plug wiring

Could someone please take a look at their low pressure switch fo the a/c system located on the accumulator(pass. eng. compartment, below the washer fluid resovoir) on a '99 M3. I had the plug apart a few months back to repair some mouse damage and I think I have put the plug back together incorrectly because the A/C does not work now. Please note the posistion of you switch compared to mine by looking at the clip on the right side of mine, your switch maybe screwed in farther. If anyone has a bently with the schematic of this plug and the colors/pin arrangment and they could send me a pic or drawing would be greatly appreciated

If no-one get to this by tomorrow, Ill get a pic of mine after work. I looked up the wiring diagram on bmws TIS, and its pretty complicated to read, easier if you can just compare :P

Okay, here it is. Looks the same, wires somewhat dirty though, but I think you can tell them apart. Hope this helps.

Looks like you have the brown/black and black wire reversed.

Yes it does! I will try and reverse them tonight and see if that works. Thanks for the fast response!

Well that fixed it, after a month of messing with the system(I also had a bad blower motor resistor) I got it working today. Lesson learned: ALWAYS write down the orientation of the wires when you dissasemble a plug.
