It would cost (in the northeast) $500 to have a body shop fill the holes where the wing attached and then paint the whole trunk lid over again.

If you look in the classifieds on www.bimmerforums.com you can always find sideskirts, and front and rear m3 bumpers, so replacement of those would be easy.

I think the wheels and ap racing brakes are sweet and the supercharger is a huge plus.

I dont think 26k is out of the question for an asking price.

$26K sounds reasonable for the low miles and DINAN S/C. I would not be concerned if the car has been driven hard or not as that is what it is designed to do. How many of us run our cars hard, I do on occasion but consider my car in great shape because of the care and maintainence I put into it.

As long as the car was well maintained and regular service performed, it should be fine. Always have a mechanic go over the used car before you buy it just to make sure. It is worth $100-$300 for a thorough inspection.

I'd say go for it. I'm not that crazy about the body kit on it, but i dont see why there is so much hatred about the wing??? That is very functional spoiler. I think it looks nice and agressive. It is a replica wing of the wing that was on the LTW M3's. If you really dont want the wing go on bimmerforums and offer the whole trunk w/ spoiler as a trade for someone else's trunk who has a dakar yellow M3. You should be able to trade it fairly easy, and that way you wont have to spend money to fill the holes or paint it. All of those mods are things that i would want on my car, minus the bodykit. That guy has spent a lot of coin on his car, and with that low of miles $26 doesn't seem like a bad deal. Just check the car out with a mechanic.

I must say...If you're looking at spending close to 20K, buy a stock car W/ good miliage for 14-15 large, and then spend the other 5K modding it yourself. Trust me, you'll have so much more pride and respect for you car and you'll love it so much more if you put in the wrench time (so to speak) and do the mods yourself. You'll be a lot happier, IMO.

Thanks for the comments, like most of you I'm tempted by the performance mods but think the body kit is a little too much. I guess I'll give it a try and if I can't get it for a good price, a stock M3 will be satisfying enough too.
