I vote for the BBS Lemans, great racing style. I am trying to find 18X8.5, does anyone know where to it?

I am about 90% sure they only come in an 18x8.0 size for our market..perhaps BBS special makes the 18x8.5 you are looking for.

I dont think you can beat the ACS type III's for the e36 (witout design elements).

Hard looks, avaiable in 18 & 19", good quality and in kepping with the BMW theme.

Now I just need to start saving

Eurospec - Is this your car? If so your ride is sweet. I saw a lot of pictures of this car on ActiveAutowerks website.

                      Factory polished forged 5 double-spoke in 8.5 x 17 all around--or--BBS RGR, 9 x 17, 42 offset all around.

So if anyone is selling either of the above, contact me!

Fikse, BBS or Kinesis no questions. Go to an SCCA race, see what all the National group guys are using.

My car came with Alpina Softlines. I asked the former owner why he went with the Alpina's and he said he thought they were a classic wheel and always loved them. I wasn't wild about them at first, but they sure have grown on me. You also don't see them every day, kind of cool.

IMO if a wheel isn't forged and weighs more than 20lbs, it's not a real performance wheel. That eliminates quite a few wheels in this thread.

Personally I think our cars need wheels that have a bit of lip, not too much but it gotta be there. LMs in 18x8 don't have any, so my choice would be RGRs. If lip is not on priority list, then REs are pretty awsome too. For everyday use though, OEM polished LTWs are good enough.

Some guys in Europe were able to source LMs in 18x8.5, which I think look perfect on an E36 M3

BBS anything. in an 18x8 or an 18x8.5 weigh around 9-12lbs.

9-12lbs???? 18 x 8.5 BBS rims average 19lbs +. If you want a wheel for performance you should probably go with 17's anyways like SSR comps or Kosie K1's which weigh the least. If you want something that is both a little nicer looking and don't weigh much for performance purposes I say go with certain BBS rims or larger SSR comps.
