What do you mean by "adjust" front and rear brakes?

Before you begin...get good tools. That's my tip. We snapped like 3 rachets and bent sockets trying to loosen some of these BMW bolts.

Run a search on brake and look for something posted by me titled "any tips before attempting a brake job" or something like that.

there was an excellent site posted.

Pretty good write up. He also said to oil the bolts ur gonna take the night before because they are a pita to take off. dont put just any oil..sumfin that will lubricate and maek ur bolts loosen up

Heh. You all must be unlucky or something. I didn't use one drop of oil when I was removing bolts and such.

The person that did the brakes before you probably used anti-sieze. That makes all the difference in the world. I didn't have to use any oil either, and the installation process isn't bad at all.

Those websites are on target with the process - that and good tools should be all you need,
