Well its the brake light circuit message, I had this before and it was because I had bad brake bulbs so i changed them and it went away but now my brake bubls are not bad and none of my brake lights work. This is such a pain in the butt. I have no idea what could be wrong. New bulbs and all the sudden none of my brake lights work not even the one on my spoiler. I tried to look at it and mess with things and now it says tail light failure and my tail lights work just fine none of the bulbs are bad. Does anyone know what the deal with this is. The main thing is how I have good bulbs and none of them work. Iv had my euros for about 2 months now.

Thanks guys, but I have heard about this switch but when people talk about it they never say how none of there brake lights work. People usually say they work and they are just annoyed of the warning. Well anyway i found these switches on ebay, is it a good idea to get them there. I found two different kinds, one for bmws without check control and ones with check control. I thought all bmws had check control. Thanks again for your replys.

Nope, not all of them did. The connectors either have 4 or 3 pins.

I believe it is a ground you want, so hook up to a hot and check the wires going to and from the switch, than depress the brake, actuating the switch
it should close the circuit if not swap it out, check fuses 1st and there is a link on this site to swap it out. It has been raining here due to Spring and I keep getting that warning and then it goes away, I read where the Comp is sensitive and corosion can be a cause but I haven't checked yet.
