bird's trapped in exhaust

i finally found where noise comes from. yesterday, i was tapping all over the area where chirpping noise comes from. i thought that sound might come from suspension parts cause chirpping noise comes whenever i hit bumps.

then actually noise comes from the exhaust. i acidentally reproduced the noise by kicking the exhaust. i haven't gone underneath to take alook yet.

any idea where to look??





i saw the muffler is getting rusty.. any way to prevent from getting more rusty? or slow the process of rust there.

Man, I thought you mean birds where seriouly in your exhaust.... I think its time for bed. I would check your mouts also. See if they are making some noise.



As for the rust.. you could sand it down, and put some high temp paint over it to prevent further rusting....

i finally fixed the sound. it came from the exhaust rubber holder.

i sprayed WB-40 on it since the rubber wasn't in a bad shape.



it is very difficult to work on my car since i live on a condo.. hopely i will move to

a single home soon to have my own garage.

i was able to prevent my exhaust from rusting by replacing it with an AA unit...
