    better car for $

having a 95 M3 with 60k miles on it, u would figure it would sell for like 16 maybe 17 right. Does anyone think there is a better car out there for this price.

I would say flat out no. There isn't another car that can match the E36 M3 for all around performance and quality for the price. You can get something that might be faster around the track (S2k?), in a straight line (Mustang/Camarobird) or more luxurious (Mercededes) but there isn't a car out there that can match the M3 in build quality, straight line performance, handling, luxury and overall quality for under $20k. Remember, in 1997 Car and Driver named the M3 the "Best Handling Car in America," regardless of price. It outperformed the Ferarri 355, 911 Turbo, Acura NSX, Corvette, Viper and it's still a better daily/around town driver than most of those. Every time I think about it, I'm glad that I found this car.

I think it just comes down to what combination of stuff you want, like dinomite said. You can beat the M3 in any category you want easily, but it's the overall package that makes it so appealing.

      What's top priority for you?

Keep the car man, my last car was a 1999 Corvette FRC, which was dayum fast straight line, but I'd still take my 95 M3 over it, especially for the price difference.
