anybody with the following colors, could you post a pic of your car:



- Daytonaviolett

- Madeiraviolett



all this time i was led to believe my car was daytona violet, but a recent trip to the dealer revealed that it is something else (it was repainted by PO with OEM color, but not sure which one)... so i am trying to track down what color mine is so i can correctly match my touch up paint. :banghead:

Note how the colour is different between my sig and avatar ? Same car, same camera, same day, just depends how the sun catches it, could be the same with the other violets. :hmm:

But it's very difficult to compare it with your colour from a photo.

On each photo the colour seems to be different, violett is not the easiest colour to photograph.

i can already see a definite colour difference. i am inclined to think that i do have the madeiraviolett and not daytonaviolett, although my dealer is unable to confirm it (maybe he wants me to buy more touch up)

Desmo... get me the last 7 of your vin, and I can get you the factory color code your car was painted from BMW real quick.
