Got jiggy with an E46 M

I just installed some GC coilovers last week and was feeling out the car on 101 north of the Golden Gate bridge last night. On an uphill twisty section, I blow by a mustard color E46 M3. I'm in third going about seventy and still accelerating at WOT. Instantly this guy is behind me, and before I know it it, he is passing with ease. Damn those suckers are fast. It didn't look or sound modded either. Oh well. Time for that S/C, I guess. :banghead:

Yeah. They are quick.. they got lots more power than we do.. almost 100 extra hp. But supposedly ours will outhandle them... maybe thats hear-say though?



And that mustard color is Phoenix Yellow.

I will let you guys know later tonight how I do against my roomates 2003 M3. We will both be going to the dragstrip to have a little fun. We both know his car should waste my 95, but it wouldnt be the first time I have recorded a kill against a faster car. He is a fairly new driver to manual trannys, but decent. By the way, my ol' girl put down 211 uncorrected RWHP and about the same torque yesterday on the dyno. Corrected SAE was 243 HP. I was pretty happy.

e36's are 50/50 weight ditribution e46's are not. They that the 3.2 euro spec e36 can take the e46 on the track but they also have like 320 hp. dam them
