    95 M3 problems

I am looking at this 95 M3, its got 110k miles on it. I was wondering what sorta things to look out for on these cars, whats the good parts and bad parts, and what should I do to check it out when I see it.

Find out about the suspension. How old is it?

Thoes cars came with the plastic waterpump impellars, which are prone to failure. Was it upgraded to the metal one?

Any visible leaks in the engine, oil, coolant.. etc? Your basic stuff.

so other than the water pump there aren't little things this car might be none to do? like exhaust rattles or if some have weird trannies or whatever.

        thanks for the input.

The only weird tranny issue I know of is the 5th gear issue. WHich mainly affects the 98's and some 99 makes.

I am sure others will chime in with some things I may have missed.

ive seen that car on the net for sometime now, about 2-3 months, i was even considering that one but i didnt liek the white interior... its just strange for a car to sit so long without selling, and i don't know if you noticed but.. the two rear tires are different? so maby its had an accident or something?

also, on the tranny topic, the differential has been known to crack/bend the bolt so you should get a diff support bracket AA E36 Diff Support Bracket - DSB $200

whenever you decide to get your ///M

have any M3 checked out by an independent BMW service shop... pay the 200.00 or whatever they charge to thoroughly inspect the car.. compression leak down test is a MUST MUST MUST MUST.
