    Question about Door Pulls...

Well, Lucky me has the luxury package on my car  So I've got a forest worth of wood in my car. It wouldn't look bad if all the wood was new, but 9 years has worn them down a bit. I went to a BMW dealer and the main thing that looked ugly on my car was the door pulls. The guy said they were attached to the door, and I would have to get new door panels. I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but somethin tells me if the door panel is made out of plastic and leather...and the pulls are wood....its not exactly molded together, so the wood had to get there somehow? I have a hookup at a BMW dealership for parts, and am thinking about swapping out all my wood for the black plastic if its not too expensive, otherwise I found a kick ass lookin Silver Carbon Fiber replacments for $500 on ebay. Oh, do you think anybody would want the wood trim in my car? Like sell it for a little $$$ or trade someone for their black plastic? Thanks!

If you're taking about that wood handle, its built into the door panal. You would have to get an entire new door panal to fix that issue, as I dont' think you can remove thoes wood peices without breaking them.

On a side note, I have the lux package too, but the only peices of wood I got are on my doors and over my glove compartment...

damnit. They look awful. There's no way to like disassemble the door and just remove the pulls?

Its an entire trim peice. Its prob put on there durring the construction of the door panal. Maybe if you poped if off and looked behind you can take it apart, but I seriouly doubt it.
