car fixed - Need E36 GT parts.

i got my car back on saturday from the dealership, turns out the diffrential mounting bracket had cracked clean into 2.The part was cheap but the labour wasn't. The dealership said that it cracked because it was was hollow cast and anything touching it could have shattered it or even if i had put full power down and taken off. Anyhow i got the car back and it feels a lot better or maybe thats just the placebo effect.



Been driving the pants of it since then and it feels like the cars rear wheels are bending under extreme cornering. I'm gonna take it back just to make sure they aint done anything stupid.



So anyway getting to the point, i was wondering does anyone know if i can get these parts for my e36 evo and if i'd have problems fitting them to my car. There from the E36 M3 gt



- The center console in carbon fibre but with only 2 window switches ( front )

- The glovebox carbon fibre trim with the BMW motorsport international limited edition plaque

- The door sill with the same BMW Motorsport international writing



the pics below show the parts i'm refering to. Also how could add chrome rings to my dials ?

Not sure about the CF stuff, but the rings I can give insite too.



You have to take the cluster apart to put the rings in. Its fairly simple, but at first it looks hard. Most rings you get, I got mine from ebay, come with this self-stick stuff on the back of them. Rubbish. I tried superglue and got it everywhere.. so don't use that. I finally ended up using some silicon fish tank sealant on the back of the rings to keep them in place. Let the cluster sit for a few hours afterwards.



If you need more details, ask. You can see where I got some glue in places I shouldn't have. And the spedo ring is kinda off a bit. But it doens't bug me. :P

Don't take mine as the final word but I don't see why they would make those parts any different between any version of the 3 series. For the center consol and door sill, make sure you get one for a coupe (you have a coupe, correct?).



But it is a bit baffeling why the GT has four window buttons while being a coupe. Does it have the automatic rear flip windows? :hmm:
