At what milage should we have inspection 1 and 2 done?

Is there a set milage for inspection 1 and another for inspection 2? Do you have to go to the dealer for these two inspections? Alot of the things included in the inspections look like they can be done at home, or any oil change place.



So I guess my question would be how frequently should we have these inspections done?

we have talked about this many times before.. run a search.. there is a link that will show u each inspection to be done and approximately what mileage it will be at..

I ran a search. I could only find what was involved with each inspection, which I already knew.

Goes like this. Oil service, inspection 1, oil service, inspection 2, oil service, inspection 1, oil service, inspection 2.. so on, so forth.



BMW's set milage between each one is 15k. So, every 30k is when the inspections are done, on a rotating basis.

I see...so what if you're capable of doing most of the services on your own? Do you really need to take it to BMW to do everything?
