On the way from MA Shaw, their carbon fiber GTR hood for E36s. Cant wait. Going to have it painted to match my car too, not down with the ricey carbon fiber look, but am down with it only weighing in at 12 pounds.

the paint will add some weight.... but i don't think you need to paint it seeing that you have a black car.



but once it comes in PHOTOS we need them.

My car is avus blue, it would prolly look ok, but its not my style.

Car doesn't see a whole lot of rain, and if it did I wouldnt be too worried about it

Im gonna give a big WOOOOOO WOOOOOOOOO to that hood.. very hot and even hotter painted.. very nice idea.. paint won't add that much weight.. im sure it will still be considered "Extremely lightweight"

There are aluminum screens that cover the opening.
