I was basically living in my car this weekend. I drove it everywhere. I was going to fremont on 580 when a crx pulls up to me. He drops into 3rd or 4th couldnt tell but heard the noise so i dropped into 3rd around 80 mph. I was amazed how fast this crx was. I had him the whole way but i wasnt expecting him to keep up. He had to take an exit and threw up a peace sign, i thought that was really cool that he showed so much respect. Well coming back from my friends house i was going around 80 and i make a lane change w/ no signal. I get pulled over. The cop was very suspicious cause i'm 17 and driving an M. He even called my parents on the spot. The cop woke my dad up w/ the phonecall and told my dad i was speeding, my dad was all thats it, i guess he was expecting worse. The cop tickets me and says,"cause i'm nice i'm not going to arrest you and impound your car."I dont know if he could've though. But the next day i had to go to a wedding in sacramento. I was coming back and i pull up to a chevelle. This thing sounded mean. Some old guy was driving it. At first he didnt want to race but gave in. I was surprised at the results. I was pulling slowly ahead. He took an exit and waved. I never learn. Oh how much is the ticket going to cost me?It says speeding 80 mph. The funniest part is i just got a ticket written off cause a cop didnt show up to court and i get another one the next day. I love my M even thought it gets me in trouble.

Nice. Depends on what the rates are for each mph over the limit you're at.
I was playing with a protege this weekend. Suprizing quick they are, but I had him each run, even though I bounced off the rev limiter twice in one race hehe. We ran three times, two from dead stops, once from a rolling start at about 40, got up got 95 and I stopped... seeing how the speed limit was 50... hehe. -
The ticket and your parents are the least of your worries. Insurance might be the one who slaps you if you get caught again.Comment

any one know how much it actually raises your insurance if you get pulled over...any one have any stories of that? i am 17 and am pretty scared of getting a ticket cause if i do i dont know how i will be able to pay for it in the long runComment

If you're under the age of 21, you really DON'T want to get a ticket.
