    Are velocity splitters OEM?

Or better question, do OEM splitters exist? I see them all the time but can't seem to find a place that sells them apart from umnitza

I want to say they came OEM on the M3 LTW in 95. I may be wrong though. But thats the only time they are OEM.

Euro GT's had them fitted as standard.

Not sure if they are the same shape and style as the velocity ones though.

The Velocity splitter are more for looks than anything else. The Lightweight splitter was adjustable and for performance.

The Velocity ones are not OEM.

I think I've seen them in the Bavarian Auto catalog too. They're called front corner splitters though. Not sure if it's the same thing but they look exactly the same.

Velocity splitters are replicas of the OEM corner splitters that are on the GT's and LTW's. The difference is obviously quality and V-splitters don't have the adjustable front lip that attaches under them. I think that Velocity splitters are supposed to look like the upper half of the LTW front spoiler. They're sick!...I'm kinda biased though.

I don't think it's worth buying something that will make me go down ramps any slower, but I suppose they look cool before you crack them or scrape them up.

There pretty tough. The bottoms of mine are a little scraped, but you can't tell unless you get up close.

Really? These things can take a beating? I guess I see so many cheap knockoffs on civics and stuff that probably cost like 3 dollars, so I assumed ours would crack and look terrible also.

                    Good to know.

Mine lasted a while, but finally died on track. I had v1's. They are pretty tough.
