The addition of the optional hardtop makes the 'verts as structurally sound as a coupe, not the fabric top in the up position.

Just get a stick. My dad used to have a e36 325is with a 5-speed and it just wouldnt have been the same car with an auto. I think in my opinion part of owning a sports car like an M3 is having a manual transmission.

take your time and find the right car. I ended up finding my color combo with manual in Texas and snapped it up.



...and you are right, not too many converts with manual, which is why I love the ones with auto's for sale that claim they are special or something....



Yeah, i found mine in Texas too.. Convertible 5spd, 99.. Exact color combo i was looking for.. Shopped for about a month and a half.. Get what you want right off.. No regrets..
