    my ghetto temp fix

So one of the clips on my headliner cover was broken and the flap hangs down only a little bit on the driver side but just enough to remind me it's broken. Getting a new headliner cover is around $250 plus install since they do not sell those clips separately as it all comes in one piece attached to the headliner cover. Why are these clips plastic anyways??

So to temporarily hold it in place, I drilled a little hole in what was left of the clip and strung a wire through it, then through the slit in the frame of the convt. top and then through a flat piece of wood that was thick enough so it wouldn't slide through this slit. Seems to be working so far, too bad it's not the prettiest thing. Just thought I'd post this for anyone with broken headliner clips that want a quick temporary fix.
