I just purchased the CD player to replace my Alpine so that I could match my interior lights and have a headunit that didn't stick out like the Alpine did in terms of lighting and the color of the face plate. Do any of you all have this unit? If so, what custom setting have you used to match the amber dash lighting the best?

I put the Alpine CDA 9835 in my car so I could match the amber lighting, but hte Alpine unit makes you select the dominant color and then fine tune it to match what you have. Are you saying your unit makes you pick a specific color?Comment

i got a similar clarion.. but it doesn't have that many colors.. just so happens it had a ver similar amber to the stock color.. so it fits well.. i will take a pic of it hopefully soon for u.. clarions are very nice HU's.. and with 728 colors it would be tough not to match it..Comment
